HERMES WINDOWS

2024 marks a century for two cultural landmarks: the opening of Hermès’ iconic flagship store at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and the publication of André Breton’s Surrealist Manifesto. To honor the anniversary of the Faubourg, Hermès invited a selection of artists and designers to create dynamic window displays that capture the brand’s vibrant spirit.
Using the signature Ledoux Shelving—rooted in Neoclassical design—as the foundation and scaffold for playfully and imaginative figures inspired by the Surrealist game Exquisite Corpse. These cherry wood installations celebrate Hermès' unique blend of tradition and innovation, reflecting Paris’ own cultural transformation in the early 20th century. Like the Ledoux Shelving, the displays stand firmly in history while bursting with avant-garde creativity.
